W.A.D's Story: 

Purchased by the Benethir Corporation upon Roberto Fyka’s first return from Gilese 1002, Work Assistant Droid model 311 or W.A.D was originally programmed for the purposes of prisoner policing. Deployed to watch over Sahara 8’s prisoner population, W.A.D had only 236 disciplinary interactions with individuals in its 14,235 days of operation.

In its attempts to allay a riot during the Water War, W.A.D was assaulted by someone wielding an M9 Wrench. Critically damaged in this altercation, W.A.D was left in place for years, as it was sufficiently blanketed by a sandstorm soon after the riot.

Uncovered in 4654AD by Scrappers, W.A.D was sold to a Chaos Races’ requisition officer for a reasonable sum. Although W.A.D was to become scrap metal, upon further inspection, it was discovered by The Pack that with relatively few repairs and a small bit of re-programming, W.A.D could be made operational, and capable of violence.

Performing the necessary repairs and re-programming, W.A.D had its policing guidelines adjusted. This allowed W.A.D to physically attack and kill people, something the other Droids and Androids of Sahara couldn’t do. Now with their own personal Chaos Rider, The Pack used W.A.D to target and kill any Chaos Rider they wanted eliminated, as well as to bring a small bit of originality to the Chaos Races.

W.A.D was initially rejected by some, as they believed its inclusion was unfair. Given W.A.D’s dry humour, lethal competency and novel nature, however, its presence was quickly forgiven by the masses. Although Chaos Riders themselves still protest W.A.D’s inclusion to this day, there is little they can do about it, other than survive.

Playstyle:

W.A.D prefers to keep enemy contestants at a distance, as well as inflict constant and reliable damage to them.
