Mahir's Story: 

Normally, Mahir wouldn’t have partnered with a corporation like Benethir, but on Sahara 8, he saw an opportunity. A world in need of marketing, but no one to market that world with, Mahir took the limelight for himself.

To give Benethir the colonists they needed, Mahir created a marketing campaign he knew would work, and one that he could feature himself prominently in. Presenting Sahara as a beautiful desert world, Mahir recorded himself living lavishly, and demonstrated that Sahara was “A new frontier, a new start, a new life”.

The campaign successful, people in the hundreds of thousands joined Benethir. Upon their arrival and as planned, they recognised Mahir first and foremost and gravitated towards him, which he capitalised on through his charisma. Over the following decades Mahir delighted in his fame, but come 4650AD, Mahir found himself abandoned by Benethir like everyone else.

Mahir feared life would become difficult following Benethir’s exodus, but be it with the Committee, The Pack, or the colony in general, Mahir’s status held and saw him through unscathed; However, when the Chaos Races were opened to the public, things changed.

The limelight shifting to the Chaos Riders, they proved too popular for Mahir to contend with. Becoming irrelevant as a result, Mahir couldn’t afford to lose the reputation he had. Only one option available, and while it would likely kill him, the thought of being forgotten certainly would.

Mahir initially struggled, but in spite of the odds he thrived as a Chaos Rider. While every race was a risk, the roaring crowds, the chanting of his name, being in the limelight once again, it all made it worthwhile.

Playstyle:

Mahir prioritises combat and optimal positioning with regards to his driving, capitalising on opportunities to inflict damage to those in front with his machine guns, or drag them to where he wants them to be with his Harpoon.
