The roars of explosions, cracklings of expended energy and burnings of rubber on sand, the first Chaos Race proved utterly exhilarating to watch. With every race afterwards proving equally exciting, Jaree wanted to develop the Chaos Races further.

Expanding the races across Sahara and designing them to include treacherous traps, dangerous terrain and more, the Chaos Races couldn’t be kept away from the colonists any longer. Opened to them shortly afterwards, the cathartic carnage and chaos of the races proved popular amongst the colonists also.

The Chaos Races becoming a cultural phenomenon soon after, the races’ survival was tested in 4654AD, due to the Pack’s prisoner numbers dwindling. To curb this, The Pack offered tantalising rewards to whomever joined the races. Attracting free individuals this way, the Chaos Races’ longevity was extended.

The most desperate and psychopathic of the colony becoming contestants, they added a new whole new dimension to the blood-sport, as they competed fiercely for water, drugs, glory, or whatever their hearts desired. Along with a handful of prisoners who consistently survived the races, these contestants became known as Chaos Riders. In time, and as these Chaos Riders’ fame grew, they quickly became living legends amongst the colonists of Sahara.

Today in 4656AD, those that survive the bloodthirsty and ruthless gauntlets of the Chaos Races are rewarded handsomely, as well as praised and immortalised by all. Those who perish in them, however, are quickly forgotten of in the drying sands of Sahara.
